Rex OB/GYN

Rex OBGYN was established in 2012 with the goal of providing the best women’s health care possible. Dr. Douglas G. Harrison, MD, FACOG, Nicole Mortensen, Certified Nurse Midwife, and Shayleh Moffett, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, are all Board-Certified in their field and strive to provide exceptional, personalized women’s care in a welcoming environment, incorporate modern technology in our practice, and to be at the forefront of knowledge in the field of women’s health care in order to serve the Gila Valley.

At Rex OBGYN we also strive to offer a rewarding and motivating environment for our employees through fair compensation, respect for diversity, room to grow, training and a healthy, creative work environment. All our employees are special and thus we have an extremely low turnover rate. Our office has paired with A. T. Still University to allow future Physician Assistants the chance to see how OBGYN practice works in the modern office setting. We also work with medical students of nationwide medical schools to aid in their preparation for entry into the world of women’s health care.

We at Rex OBGYN recognize that medical care and our health care delivery system is always changing, thus we commit to remaining flexible and non-dogmatic in an effort to remain a modern practice. Through open communication and feedback from staff and patients, we commit to the periodic reevaluation of the care we give and the patient and staff experience.
